Terry Eylers DVM, Chirp Mentor

Dr. Terry Eylers is a 2012 graduate of Ross University, with her clinical rotations spent at Washington State University. After graduation, Dr. Eylers pursued a general practice position for several years before joining Peace Love Pets in Commack, NY as an associate veterinarian. She spends time traveling with a variety of non-profit organizations to underdeveloped countries, including Mexico and the Caribbean, to aid in low cost, high volume spays and neuters. Surgery has become one of her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine, and she has spent over 5 years working with Helping Paw, a non–profit, low cost spay/neuter organization on Long Island.

Dr. Eylers is an astute clinician with excellent instincts and skill when it comes to diagnosis and problem solving. She loves to teach and has so much to offer. She understands how tough our profession can be at times and has many stories to share with those who are interested. She has a great sense of humor and is a no-nonsense, great person.  In her spare time she likes to travel, study astronomy, and spend time with her multiple pets.
