Dr. G was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 2, 1972. He was a full scholarship swimmer from 1990-1995, attended University of North Carolina Wilmington, graduating with a BS in Chemistry with honors, a minor in math and Spanish, and University of Illinois Veterinary School graduating with a DVM in 2000. During school, he worked at the ASPCA Urbana Champaign from 1995-1997 and the University of Illinois Toxicology Lab from 1996-2000.

Dr G started in the Kennel in 1990 and has made his way to a dual practice owner in Orange County, California. Now, he is about to finish his MBA from Pepperdine University and starting his Doctorate in Business Administration in the fall. His research is going to be aimed at trying to modify the veterinary curriculum to prepare the modern veterinarian to the different working environment of today's marketplace. His interests include organizational behavior, mental health, preparing for compassion fatigue, and working in a corporate environment.
